Ana has acted on a wide range of commercial and private disputes in both Auckland and Paris. Her particular focus is on delivering efficient and practical solutions for resolving disputes. Ana first joined Gilbert Walker as an Associate in 2017 and, since then, has also worked as a legal academic specialising in teaching and researching dispute resolution at the University of Auckland, and as a guest lecturer at other universities and organisations.
Ana attended the University of Auckland where she graduated with a LLB(Hons)/BSc (Psychology, Geography). She also attended Columbia University as a Fulbright Scholar and Ethel Benjamin Scholar, where she graduated top of her LLM class. In 2022, Ana was featured in Judith Milner’s ‘Raising the Bar’ exhibition of inspiring women working in the law as one of the founding editors-in-chief of the New Zealand Women’s Law Journal.
